Meet the Brew Master
Brewing beer is an art, not rocket science.
Brewing great beer, however, is a craft best left to those as picky and demanding as a rocket scientist.
Meet Rob McFerren, Wolf Creek Restaurant & Brewing Co.'s rocket scientist turned award-winning brewmaster. "I have a degree in rocket science..." Rob says. "I started..." But, when Rob met his future-wife Laina, solar system plans were eclipsed by plans to open up a unique restaurant and bar in Santa Clarita California.
Then, One Christmas, Laina bought her hubby a make-your-own-brew kit and, just like a astronaut who builds his first model airplane, Rob never looked back.
Each beer he brewed was better-tasting than the one before and each time he tried he brought his rocket science skills to the launch pad. Tweaking temperature dials and plotting trends on a clipboard quickly paid off as Rob developed a series of back-to-back award-winning beers.
